Mass Production Systems of GG from Spirulina

The large-scale Spirulina breeding bases and GMP standard refining workshop were built, and the perfect ISO9001 production management system and GMPC cosmetics quality management system meeting the requirements of international standards and the first enterprise standard of GG in China were established. The equipment, process and products of GG were finalized, and the mass production and sales of high-quality GG were realized. The purity of the GG product is more than 99% and the quality reached the highest level in the world. The COSMOS Natural Certification was granted and the product became the first "Pure Natural" GG product in the world.

Protein Purification Platform

At present, the platform has a low-temperature protein purification room, and two ÄKTA pure series Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography systems, which are are used to quickly purify target products such as proteins and peptides at micrograms or hundreds of milligrams scales. A selection of supporting chromatography columns are available to perform molecular sieve gel filtration chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, and affinity chromatography, etc. The ÄKTA pure systems are also equipped with a fraction collector F9-R, which has a peak collection function. Sample collection can be carried out through the control software UNICORN.

Cyanobacteria Culture Platform

To meet the task requirements from breeding of cyanobacteria genetic resources, cyanobacterial molecular physiology research, and evaluation of cyanobacteria photosynthetic cell factories, we have established a cyanobacteria culture platform, which can support the cyanobacteria cultivation scaled from 10 ml to 1000 ml in lab. The platform have been equipped with MC1000 multi-channel culture devices, which can facilitate continuous and online automatic monitoring of cyanobacterial growth under specific temperatures, illuminations, and aeration conditions.

Fermentation platform for Synthetic Biotechnology is mainly used for microorganism cell factory from the laboratory flask fermentation to small test fermentation tank process amplification, aiming at the downstream fermentation technology exploration docking industrialization to provide a professional research platform.
