The “1st Sino-German Binational Symposium on Cyanobacteria” was hold in Institute of Hydrobiology, CAS, in Wuhan, from Sep. 26th to Sep. 28th, 2019. Themed with “From the Genomic Blueprint to Application: Cyanobacteria in Fundamental Research, Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology”, the conference was formatted to 6 sessions. Prof. Xuefeng Lu, the group leader of MME, was one of the acting chairs of this conference. Fourteen MME members participated in this event and contributed 10 posters.
