Professor; the Director of QIBEBT; Recipient of the Distinguished Young Scholar of NSFC (2015); Innovative Talents Promotion Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2016); Outstanding Scientific and Technological Workers of Shandong Province (2021); member of the Academic Committee for State Key Laboratory of Bioactive Seaseed Substances; member of the Academic Committee for State Key Laboratory of Microbial Technology; member of the Synthetic biology Committee of Chinese Society of Bioengineering; member of editorial board of Synthetic Biology Journal. Prof. LU Xuefeng received his PhD from University of New Mexico in 2005 and then did his postdoctoral research in Stanford University. In 2008, he joined QIBEBT, CAS as a full professor and organized the Microbial Metabolic Engineering Group which has been developed the division Microbial Manufacturing Engineering Center in early 2020. His research focuses on the synthetic biology and green bio-manufacturing.
